An evolving herbarium exploring plants beyond scientific classification, attending to their colours, forms and stories as ways of revealing overlooked qualities and cultivating connections between plants, people and place. Combining pressed plant specimens, colour samples and stories gathered from personal encounters, local knowledge and cultural histories, the herbarium considers plants not only as botanical specimens, but as carriers of memory, knowledge and relationships. Each entry offers a different way of approaching a plant – through its colour, use, habitat, history or the stories that have grown around it – creating an evolving collection that connects observation, making and place.
