FOOD HAPPENING AND CONVERSATION @ARS ELECTRONICA FESTIVAL 2026
On September 10, 2026, Unearthing Taste invites participants to experience the tension between preservation and destruction. This food happening and conversation centres on clay-based food preservation as a practice of care, material knowledge and resourcefulness. Together, we will break open earthen vessels to uncover and share preserved regional food, creating a space for stories and reflections on place, memory, impermanence and the materials that help sustain us. Through tasting, opening and conversation, the event invites us to consider how acts of preservation can also involve transformation, loss and renewal.
