Antonia Ludwig is a designer and researcher currently working as a research assistant at the Crafting Futures Lab at the University of Arts Linz.
In her practice she focuses on residues of human activity found in natural landscapes. She is interested in reflecting material cultures of everyday objects through the perspective of aquatic ecologies, investigating systems of making and visualization. Working and playing across physical materials, film, text, and sound, different forms of making allow her and others to engage with the relationships between humans and everyday objects, material memory, and questioning the politics embedded in what remains unseen.
Previously, she worked as a freelance designer and researcher in exhibition design and production in Kassel/Germany, and Eindhoven/the Netherlands.
